Opinion: Why would reporters take the word of a terrorist organization?

What credible media organization would trust Hamas for news sourcing? The answer should be none. For those who have been asleep since Oct. 7, Hamas is the terrorist organization responsible for murdering over 1,400 people in a terrorist rampage in Israel and kidnapping 210 additional victims. Hamas’ stated mission is to obliterate Israel.Satellite images and other data prove that Hamas uses Gaza hospitals, mosques, schools and other civilian areas as command centers, rocket launching sites and storage for war supplies. In addition to killing and raping babies, children, pregnant women, and elderly people, Hamas manufactures facts. Hamas controls and restricts the press and is legendary for pushing out fake news, which their allies in social media have long spun out as factual. For example, a Hamas spokesperson denied in an earlier interview with NPR that they slaughtered 260 people at the Israeli music concert that was underway when this rampage began. Many of the atrocities that took...Mike Johnston nominates former rival from Denver mayor’s race for cabinet post

The concept of a robot dog has been around for many years, but usually, they’ve been too expensive, too complicated, or both. Now, one toy company thinks they have the answer with a one-of-a-kind dog at an affordable price point. It's called the Dog-E by WowWee, and it's inspired by those popular blind boxes, where kids love the surprise of not knowing what they're getting."When you turn him on, this is when the magic really starts," said Sydney Wiseman, Dog-E's creator. She has high hopes for the robotic pup this holiday season."Honestly, I think I love toys more than kids," she quipped. Wiseman comes from a family of toy makers and one of her earliest inventions, called Fingerlings, was a massive hit."I think we really achieved in creating a character and a movie on your finger at a $14.99 price point, and no one had ever seen anything like that before," explained Wiseman. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have publicly retreated from attacking the British royal family after apparently realizing that the British and American public have become tired of hearing them “whinge,” as the English say. But the California-based Duke and Duchess of Sussex still have their proxies putting forth the idea that they were badly mistreated by the monarchy and that only their star power could have helped an antiquated institution stay relevant in the 21st century. One of those proxies has long been biographer Omid Scobie. Described as the Sussexes’ “mouthpiece,” and even as Meghan’s “lapdog,” the royal author has ramped up promotion for what he promises is a scathing new book about the royal family, which will offer an “explosive” and “penetrative investigation into the current state of the British monarchy,” The Telegraph reported. The description for Scobie’s “Endgame” brands Charle...San Jose retail center could be replaced by affordable housing project

SAN JOSE — An affordable housing development with well over 100 units is being eyed on a San Jose site now occupied by a small retail strip center, a fresh example of a fast-shifting real estate landscape in the Bay Area. The proposed development would be located at 1190 Hillsdale Avenue in San Jose, the site of a retail center next to Almaden Expressway. The proposed development would consist of 160 apartments, according to a proposal on file with the San Jose Planning Department. The residences in the project are described as “affordable multifamily units,” according to very preliminary plans on file at City Hall.As prospects for office buildings and retail centers become murkier in a wobbly economy, real estate firms have increasingly turned to housing as a more fundamentally solid development option. It wasn’t immediately clear which real estate development company had proposed the project. An architectural firm filed the proposal. What is clear, according to...Latest news
