SALINAS – Two men have been arrested in connection with the alleged selling and rape of a child and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is seeking more information from the public or the possibility of other victims.Saavedra Obdulio Aparicio, 38, of Castroville has been arrested, as well as Javier Saavedra, 20, of Salinas.On April 28, Monterey County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Patrol Division investigated a report of child abuse from officials at North Monterey County School District which occurred in the 11000 block of Merritt St. in Castroville according to a press release.Detectives from the Investigations Division responded to the scene. Carlos Dominguez pleaded not guilty to two counts of premeditated murder and one count of attempted murder in relation to the string of stabbings that occurred in Davis at Yolo Superior Court on Friday.Dominguez, 21, was arrested Thursday and is accused for the stabbing deaths of two Davis residents and the attempted murder of another.RLATED: Davis stabbing suspect has Oakland tiesDominguez was denied bail. A Long Beach man killed his brother and injured his sister-in-law at their Utah home on Thursday, April, 27 before dying in a shootout with police, authorities said.In a video released by the Weber County Attorney, 66-year-old Jeffrey Roberts is seen on a Ring doorbell camera shooting into the North Ogden residence after a brief conversation at the front door with his brother Scott. He then shot and injured his sister-in-law, Jodi, who cannot be seen in the video. (BCN) -- One person suffered injuries from smoke inhalation after a residential fire broke out at a two-story townhouse in San Leandro Monday morning.Firefighters from the Alameda County Fire Department responded to the fire in the 2400 block of Cheshire Court at 5:01 a.m. after receiving a call from a neighbor who saw flames and smoke.Residents of the townhouse were evacuated without injury upon firefighters' arrival, but a neighbor suffered smoke inhalation and was being treated at the scene as of 7 a.m., according to Alameda County Fire Division Chief Heather Marques.
